The Gift Edit. My Wishlist: By Rosa Pietsch

Introducing the ever wonderful and creative Rosa, founder and designer of Rosa Pietsch jewellery. I first met Rosa at a show a few years back and ever since I have been following her journey and jaw dropping designs. This year Rosa deservedly became an Etsy design awards finalist and I couldn't be more proud to share her Christmas wishlist with you. Introducing The Gift Edit by Rosa Pietsch.

Gift 1: Chalk Jewellery - AMA Earrings

When asked to compile this gift list, Chalk was one of the first brands that came to mind. Created by architect Malaika, Chalk's jewellery is beautifully designed, taking the popular technique of laser-cutting and using it in an original, elevated way.

The Ama Earrings are one of my favourite styles - I love the mix of shiny gold mirrored acrylic and walnut wood outlines, with flashes of forest green formica. Laser-cut earrings are also surprisingly lightweight, so they're nice and comfortable to wear.

Gift 2: Salt Studios - Medium Orange & White Terrazzo PotIG GRID (5)

I love a bit of Terrazzo, and homewares are always a great idea for Christmas presents. Salt Studios make a range of homewares using hand-cast Jesmonite, in a variety of vibrant colours. I'm particularly drawn to the Orange shade of this Medium Terrazzo pot, but I'd be happy with one of each colour...

Gift 3: A Weathered Penny: Nail Polish in Sandstone

Every winter, my hands end up feeling pretty neglected after a busy autumn of non-stop jewellery making, so one thing I always look forward to for the Christmas break is making my nails look nice again! IG GRID (2)

I'm a big fan of more unusual nail polish colours, and AWP's Sandstone colour reminds me of sunshine and sand - a nice reminder of holidays and summer during the grey winter months. It wasn't easy picking one colour though - I'd be happy with any of the colours from this range!

Gift 4: Humphries & Begg: Pyjamas

I've been a fan of Humphries & Begg for years, having first discovered them when we were both selling our wares at summer music festivals. I love that their products are ethically handmade, and their use of colour and pattern is uplifting and inspired. I absolutely love their recently-launched loungewear collection - we're all spending so much time indoors this year, we might as well be comfy and colourful! I'm after these lounge pants in California Dreaming print, and I'll probably be needing the matching pyjama top too...

Gift 5: Nikki Strange - Notebook

I first met Nikki years ago when we were just starting up our brands - we shared one of our first Christmas market stalls together and encouraged one another to exhibit at our first Trade Shows! Nikki's work is truly special; her print designs have such a distinct personality, instantly recognisable as hers. I love the contrast of gold foiled elements with the soft, hand-painted texture of the Luna & Solis print on this notebook. It also comes as a 2021 diary.
