Black Friday: Supporting those who need it most.

This BFCM, similar to last year, we have decided to do things differently. As a small family run business, heavily discounting products on Black Friday severely harms our long term ability to keep creating affordable accessories. Instead, we focus our efforts on alternative ways to use the weekend and it’s an opportunity for us to show gratitude for your support. We don’t ask you to shop independent to make you feel guilty, instead, we hope you choose to shop with us because we offer you great value products that you or someone else will cherish and love, and hopefully, great customer service.

Across the year, we do offer a welcome discount, free shipping, sale items and chances to win gift cards to spend online, which you can use today - but Black Friday heavy discounting is something we choose not to partake in. Most importantly, to everyone who has purchased from us in the last week, months or year, we felt like we’d be letting you down. What does it really say about our integrity if we ask you to see our products at one value, only to heavily discount days after?

One thing that is also glaringly different to any previous BFCM weekend is the current pandemic. Children, families, communities & charities are still facing harsh realities and need our support more than ever. So here’s what will be doing across the BFCM weekend:

You’ll receive a free ring of your choice with every order and we will also be donating 15% of our total sales from across the four day weekend to Trussell Trust, who support a nationwide network of food banks, providing emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK. As a result of the pandemic, new research sadly reveals that six emergency food parcels will be given out a minute this winter, a 61% increase on last year. So we want to use our voice to raise attention to this in anyway we can, however big or small it may seem.

Finally again, a HUGE thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all your support and joining us on this journey. Let’s hope 2021 is a better one.

Stay safe. Kayleigh x
